Farm implement dealers have some attractive trucks for S scale. Most
are modern, but I found some gems by Ertl at the local John Deere dealer
today:
Circa 1956 Mack Model B (headlights in fenders)semi with flatbed trailer
and two John Deere 20 Series industrial (yellow) tractors $17.75
1955 Chevy "Cameo" pickup and John Deere Model 80 tractor $8.00
1950 Chevy flatbed truck with a Styled Model A tractor $9.75
bag of soft plastic farm animals, including: 10 horses, 12 cows, 4 pigs,
a rooster and a hen on a single base (six of these), 4 geese and one dog
for 3.00.
The local Case-International dealer didn't have so much to choose from,
but they had the 1950 Chevy flatbed truck with a Farmall Model M
tractor, also for $9.75.
