About 15-20 years ago, there were about a dozen active S scale modelers
around Tampa. Dave moved to San Fran, George moved to Cleveland, Bill
moved to Milw, couple of others changed to HO scale, and I moved to
WV. Ladd Houda and Jettie Padgett are still in the area. The
Suncoast AF group is the only club in FL, but they are AF folks... like
the name implies.

According to the NASG directory, there are around 40 NASG members in
FL.... since only about 40% of the average modelers are online, have the
other guys been invited by snailmail?

I have attended this meet when it was strickly an O meet in the past,
and while it was a small group, it was a quality group. Well worth the
time to go. And while the S turnout for the first couple of times might
be small, I suspect it will grow.

Take care
Bill
