Hard to believe, but only 2 weeks until Fall S Fest in Milwaukee, WI beginning
Friday, November 14th through
Sunday, November 16th. This years S Fest is sponsored by the Badgerland S
Gaugers, and is being
held at the Wyndham Airport Hotel and Convention Center. 4747 S. Howell
Avenue, Milwaukee, WI.
The hotel has easy access from I-94 and I-43. In addition it is near
Milwaukee's airport and the new
AMTRAK Airport Station. The hotel offers free shuttles from both the airport
and the airport AMTRAK
station. If arriving by train, you must call the hotel for the shuttle to pick
you up.
The trading floor holds 195 tables and only a few remain. If you are coming
and need a table, get your
registration in now, call (262-574-1086) or e-mail me, and I can arrange to
hold tables for you.
In addition, the banquet is almost sold out. This year's banquet speaker is
Mr. David Myers, a retired Military
Railroad Engineer. He has a great presentation of his experiences with
Military Railroading. Again, get your
registration in now, first come first served.
Sales of this years S-Fest Car, the WEBER beer wood sided reefer, have been
brisk but we should have a few available
to purchase at the door. Once you see this beautiful car in person, you will
have to have one.
We have a total of eight clinics. Among them Basic TMCC, Basic DCC, Resin
Casting, Rock Molding,
John Heck's cleaning and repairing of American Flyer. There is also a special
Jewelry making clinic
friday evening for the Women.

Flyer, Scale, Hi-Rail and even narrow gauge,
