I used chalk and oils. I painted the model with Scalecoat. After a couple of hours in the oven I decaled the model and over sprayed clear. I make up a clear with gloss and flat, more gloss than flat then a reducer. After I clear coat the model I bake it for an hour and set aside for about a month before I weather it and then I put the last coat on about a week after that. I buy chalks at my favorite art supply store and use a file to produce what powder I need. I use Grumbacher oils. Any artist oil paint will work. I "thin" it with mineral spirits. On this model I used a "wet" brush technique and dusted with the chalks then applied a clear flat
