The history of these matters is most interesting and raises another question:
In 2002 I attend one day of the NASG convention at Strongville, Ohio. While
there I came across a table, absent its vendor, with all manner of metal or
brass S-scale castings for box car ends and possibly sides--It was some years
ago, and I cannot remember for sure--but the vendor was offering to sell the
lot of them.
Does anyone from the list recall what I describe and know what happened to the
castings or patterns. They were heavy brass or metal patterns.
