One more tidbit on the Enhornog GP40 effort. El Presidente Sam McCoy
and the Honorable Jim Kindraka stopped by this morning after
returning from the most hallowed of ground of Indiana; Carmel and the
S Scale show.

I pulled the earlier mentioned GP40 drawings for inspection and one
or two others as well. Later in the day, Ken Hough, Hooier S Scaler
on this list was by, and mentioned the Enhorning GP40, so out came a
few more drawings. Ken mentioned that this stuff was part of S Scale
history and should be preserved. I have not looked at any of this
stuff as history, even for S Scale as history of any kind would
surely predate me.

Ken was so gracious that I went back and searched for the GP40 body
which I found and promptly showed to Ken. At 38 years old it isn't
history yet. It is younger than Bill Lane. It is the original
photoetched boy for Enhorning's GP40. What I had forgotten was the
other locomotive body on the sheet; an SD45.

I beleive I have the only and last two locomotives from Enhorning:
the 40 and 45. Needless to say, if there are any others out there, I
would like to see them. If there ever is an true S Scale museum, we
will surely donate this stuff to it, as soon as it becomes old enough
to be history.
