My friend Rich did a three week trip out west with his family several years
ago. Rich was shooting KodaChrome 200 all the way. He secured his film and
Kodak mailers from B&H Camera. No problem!

As Rich shot his film, he mailed it to Kodak in their mailers. Out of 21 rolls,
14 came home okay, eventually Kodak mailed 4 others. Then they offered film to
replace the lost rolls. Who lost the film? The Post Office or Kodak?

Two years later Rich and family took another three week trip west, a trip Rich
always dreamed about, Monument Valley and the like. What did Rich shoot this
time? He brought a nice new "Canon Rebel XSi 10 DLSR" with two very nice lenses
along with him, and he had a wonderful time. Now that he has all these
thousands of images on those chips, what is he going to do? 8>)
How many will he have printed? Well, regardless of who [or what] you deal with,
you take a risk!

When I deal with the Post office, most times I secure "Delivery Confirmation!"
or better!

Bill
