GUYS:
I have four Trainstuff LLC out-of-production building kits for sale that
were originally produced by the now-defunct Trainstuff LLC. The kits are NIB. I
broke the manufacturer's seals just to get the footprints for this offer.
Trainstuff LLC dubbed these kits as their "downtown" series. These models no
longer fit my layout theme, and I'd also like to free up some space on my
"round tuit" kit shelves in the garage. This is a package offer of all four for
$110 including shipping. Since Trainstuff LLC went out of business over
three-years-ago, some of you might not be familiar with their structures.
Here's a brief overview with kit-by-kit details to follow.
All Trainstuff kits are mostly cast resin with some miscellaneous styrene
for roofs and trim. With the novice model-builder in mind, Dayna, the
past-owner of Trainstuff LLC, designed the kits to be geometrically easier than
any common craftsman kit. The kits go together easily with five-minute epoxy
and/or superglue. They do require a lot of cleaning/dressing to rid the larger
pieces and windows of casting-mold residue. This is not difficult using a
sanding block/emery board and Xacto #11 blade.
No Trainstuff LLC kits had material for intermediate floors/ceilings. This
is easily rectified with some 3/16"x3/16 styrene/basswood for support and
styrene/cardboard sheet stock for the floors/ceilings.
ARTHER ARMS
A four-story art deco brick building. Most appropriate for a storefront on
the first floor with upscale apartments on the top three. Scale
footprint=24'x31'. Instructions included.
SIEGEL BUILDING
A four-story brick building. This could be an apartment building or an
office building. Scale footprint=23'x31.5'. Instructions included.
LIVINGSTONE TOWER
A four-story brick building. Design seems to be for a storefront on the
first floor with offices on the top three floors. Kit includes a nice
pre-printed sheet of window glazing with printed business names for each front
window. Scale footprint=24'x29'. Instructions included.
VOLLANO VISTAS
A four-story cast iron and brick building. I'd guess a bank on the first
floor and offices on the remaining three. This was the last of the four in the
series and is a bit fancier with the cast iron front facade. Kit includes a
nice pre-printed color sheet of window glazing with business names for each
front window. Scale footprint=24'x29'. Instructions included.

four pieces of S history. Any on-list responses will be deleted. Kits shipped
when check clears or immediately with a money order.
