Brian,

I have no idea if it would look anything like what you are attempting,
but the use of MICA comes to mind. And no, I don't know where you
would get any right off hand either. I think if it was broken up and
delaminated it would look pretty much like scale broken glass. Not
nearly as hazardous, and not food.

Just an idea.......

problems. I agree upon reflect though, that the gondolas are probably
not good for broken glass transit. I'll have to get a coal hopper or
something. I was going to ship the wire in the GONDOLA, not the
covered hopper. ;) I can't use "real food" stuffs for this though at
ALL - this apartment I live in had a roach problem about a year ago,
and now that they're gone, there is NO way I'm risking them coming
back! I like the xmas "snow" idea, and the pinking shears idea for
the clear styrene would be good. Repainting coal loads though? ^0o^
Have to admit I never thought of that idea - simple, yet effective!
Maybe sprinkle some white flocking on it, too? Not sure if that
would work.

your ideas. I'm beginning to suspect that I should really try and
save the gons for a scrapyard or something instead. ;)
