December Calendar---
PEQUEA VALLEY MODEL RAILROADERS set up their Annual two week "S" gauge
display at the DUTCHWAY FARM MARKET, 375 Rt 41 South in Gap, PA. We will be
running
the oldest to the newest, A/C, D/C and DCC. Starting on Thursday the 4th,
first week includes a SUB SALE Thursday Dec 4th thru the 6th. Layout reopens
with a "cooler" look on Wednesday the 10 and is open thru Saturday the 13th.
Hours each day are from 10 AM til 8 PM, except the 13th, closing at 6 PM.
DUTCHWAY is also a full-blown SUPERMARKET with adjacent RESTAURANT, you'll
definitely find the PVMR crew at the Breakfast Buffet on Satudays, one of the
best deals around at $4.99. PVMR Crew Members on hand to "Talk Trains" any
time
during the FREE show.
"ORIGINAL" GILBERTSVILLE (PA)Train Meet, Dec 7th in Gilbertsville, PA, Fire
Station, Rt 73, EAST of Rt 100. Admission charged.
YORK-HANOVER (PA) Train and Toy Meet, Dec 7th at PORTERS FIRE HALL, Porters,
PA. Admission Charged.
The TRAIN GUYS of Elizabethtown (PA), call the lower level of the E-Town
Public Library home.
Their 10th Annual display is open 6 to 8 PM Tuesdays and Thursday, 10 AM til
2 PM Saturdays til Dec 23rd. Located close to a Municipal Parking Lot,
behind/beside Barry's Train Shop on the Square. Donations graciously accepted,
nickels and dimes for the meters (really, 2 hours for ten cents).
CHOO CHOO Barn, Rt 741, Strasburg, PA, Open Daily til Jan 1st. LARGE "O"
Layout, reflecting Lancaster Co, PA. Admission charged.
BOB BOARD'S ALL ABOARD RR, open Saturdays and Sundays, every day between
Christmas and New Years Eve. LARGE "S" Layout, 1952 Landis Valley Rd, just off
of
Rt 23 in Eden. Admission Charged.
NATIONAL TOY TRAIN MUSEUM, 300 Paradise Lane, Strasburg. TCA's Crown Jewel,
open weekends 10 AM til 5 PM, open every day between Christmas and New Years
Eve.
5 operating layouts, O, S, G, H-O and STANDARD, lovingly maintained by a
small group of dedicated volunteers. Admission charged.
