Sometimes I wonder if it would be easier to build the whole thing out of styrene. How much of the wood kit do you actually use?
I've been building a Kinsman kit, and have found that I get the best bond by first putting gap filling CA directly on the wood, waiting a moment allowing it to "soak in," then putting the metal piece in place, touching the joint with a wire dipped in CA, and holding the part in place with finger pressure for 60 seconds. -Michael Eldridge -San Jose, CA --- In [email protected], "robyntw247" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Also, is it best to use CA for gluing wood to styrene, or is there > anything else that is better? > > I'm tackling a older [EMAIL PROTECTED] Railbox kit as my latest project > and plan to use styrene pieces instead of the stripwood that came with > the kit. > ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
