This info is from Richard Prince's book.

The Atlanta, Birmingham and Coast was a 1926 reorganization of the 2nd
Atlanta, Birmingham & Atlantic (1906-1915 foreclosure, then 1916-1926). The
new corporation was controlled from the outset by the ACL. On 1 January
1946, the AB&C became the Western Division of the ACL.

MIKADOS (leading dimensions given in order of cylinders, driver diameter,
working pressure, locomotive weight, tractive effort). The numbers given
are AB&C; they had been renumbered from AB&A original series. The 1946
survivors had 7000 added to their numbers.

K-3 #301-302 -- Baldwin, 1910 -- 25.5 x 30 -- 57 -- 200 -- 279,500 -- 62,060
K-1 #201-215 -- Baldwin, 1912-15 -- 24 x 30 -- 57 -- 185 -- 252,000 --
47,670

K-2 #225-235 -- ex-New York Central H-5 class, various subclasses, rebuilt
from G-5 2-8-0s. These arrived on the AB&C 1939-1941. That photo in the
July 1958 RMC is of one of these.
leading dimensions: 25 x 32 -- 56 -- 180 -- 280,000 -- 48,570. Some were
equipped with a booster but I am not sure if any of the AB&C locos were so
equipped.

Unfortunately, H-5 plans are also non-existent in the modeling magazines,
per Wayner and Stephans.

I have a small diagram in Edson & Vail's "Steam Locomotives of the New York
Central Lines" that I could send but it is pretty small for any kind of
modeling. Let me know if it can be of use.

Full-size diagrams are available from the New York Central System Historical
Society.

If you are interested in AB&C steam power per se, the NYC also sold three
B-2 class 0-6-0s to AB&C. Again, I have the NYC small diagram but I see no
listing for plans in the indexes for the modeling magazines.

regards ... pqr
