HI All,
I was just reading in a recent TRAINS issue about a PRR E8 that was restored
in Albany NY. BUT, the owner gutted it, then painted it in NYC Lightening
Stripes! He is turning it into a kiddie party room for his ice cream shop.
Oh the calamity of it all!!!!! I would rather see it running around in
Lightening Stripes then have its innards disgraced with endless plops of
melting double mint chink ice cream at the hands of a bunch of rug-rats!
What an awful end to such a glorious beginning for a fine piece of EMD
engineering....
