Granted my speakers are not Bose, but for scale sound they really cannot be
beat. I have speakers in 8 ohm and 100 ohm. The bass reflex design that I
have give much better bass than a stock speaker. I also have a high bass
speaker which has a great low end.

Bill and others,

Headphones, etc. can have good sounding bass because the speaker is
close-coupled to your eardrum. Set them 3' away and they won't sound nearly
as good.

Agree that Bose speakers sound good. I've used Bose speakers with my stereo
equipment for years.

Subject: {S-Scale List} Got Bose?

Hi All,

Proving once again the power of selling stuff on TV (QVC I think), my wife
suddenly decided she could not live another second without $90.00 Bose ear
bud headphones for her IPod. She ran out yesterday morning first thing and
bought them at Best Buy for the same price. If you have not heard Bose
products they are simply amazing, especially the unbelievable bass that
comes out of speakers that fit IN your ear. They seemingly defy the bigger
is better rule with speakers. I have tried the $300.00+ noise canceling full
size headphones that are more amazing, but can put the $$ to buying
something more important like buying TRAINS!

If we could only convince Bose to make speakers that are 3/4" in DIA. for
sound units! Does anyone here work for Bose? (:->)

Thank You,
Bill Lane
