etc, etc, etc,

As a sometimes on and sometime times off member of the NASG I decided
to send in my NASG membership money yesterday, Thanks to Mr. Fraley's
encouragement (of which I think he he may know nothing about me). I
also plan on subscribing to the renewed scale magazine for one year. I
may even make an effort at writing an article.

((I have no interest in any thing Flyer, never have and never
will. I did not get into S scale because of Flyer. As a 5 year old I
had Marx wind up and as a 7 year old I went big time with Lionel "O",
not "O27". At 14 I converted to HO scale. After returning from that
little country in Southeast Asia I continued in HO and then, I went
from HO and HOn3 to Sn3 and then added S standard gauge in the mid
1970's))

I have come across some flyer in my time and always passed the
info on to some NASG Flyer friends here on the Left Coast. These
friends are buried up to their necks in the stuff. I, on the other
hand, view it as a bigger money pit then all of the S scale brass that
has been produced. But if you love Flyer, more power to you. We get
one chance at this game so go for what tweaks your fancy! Mine is not
the die cast, plastic, monster couplers, fat wheels, and tall flanges.
I do understand the passion!!!! Just go for it. Merry Christmas and
many Happy New Years ahead for you.

gentleman!!!)
