I believe I heard that the NMRA HQ is now running the convention side 
also.  That could be an option for NASG; it would certainly open 
things up to more cities and venues.

As a former S manufacturer, I think the "must have a public flea 
market" is a lousy idea.  It just sticks manufacturers with extra 
time behind tables while you all enjoy convention activities.  There 
are a bazillion train show/ flea markets going on every weekend all 
over the country.  Why can't we have one annual three day event 
totally for NASG members, focused on having some fun, seeing a few 
layouts or points of interest and a day with manufacturer's?
