This will look really neat at night time.

You can remove and rearrange those lights any way you like to more
accurately reflect what the signal should be for your specific layout
and track geometry. As it comes, the P-ville bridge may or may not
be correct.

Kalmbach has a book written by Dr. Bruce Chubb which has a chapter
showing all kinds of signal diagrams with colored lights, etc.

Chubb's book HOW TO OPERATE YOUR MODEL RAILROAD will provide some
good explanations. Check out chapter 9: SIGNALS AND COMMUNICATION.
Also, Kalmbach's book by Tony Koester REALISTIC MODEL RAILROAD
OPERATION has a chapter about signal systems. Chapter 8 has a ton of
color diagrams illustrating a lot of ideas and arrangements.

Are you planning to use the signal lights to indicate the position of
the turnout points? If so, there is no need for all the books, I
suppose. But knowing how the real RRs do it is a big part of the
overall enjoyment. Accurate prototypical signalling is rather
complex although it appears, at first glance, to be little more than
a series of traffic lights. That first impression can be misleading.

Have fun...Ed L.
