Thanks for the mention, Peter. And Ed L., how soon you forget...

Actually, we are about to release a new brass/wood/resin S Scale kit, a CNR
combine.

And still in the works is the CNR Hudson. We hope to finalise the mechanism
soon.

After that...who knows? But we are still dedicated to offering Canadian
kits in S scale for people who are interested.

BTW, the S Scale CNR K-3 Pacific kit is available again in a very small
quantity.

Now for some heresy. We are about to release what may be the first HO brass
CNR steam loco kit. It is the HO version of the CNR K-3. Because of all
the delays, problems and RTR available, we will not do an HO kit again!

How many people actually build the S Scale CN steam loco kits? I don't know
but I believe that Dave Fontana and William Flatt have completed the CNR
Mogul and have started the CNR K-3 Pacific. I personally have built 4 S
Scale CNR Pacifics. One was a kit and the others were test shots so perhaps
3 of them don't count as kits.

I have also finished a mechanism and boiler for the CNR Mogul. A wonderful
kit and very easy to build!

The CNR Mogul kits were designed by Simon Parent and produced by SSL&S.

And to clear up the confusion again, the CNR H-6 ten wheeler was designed
and built by Simon Parent for SSL&S, not MLW.

cheers,

Andy Malette
