Hi All,
I just started to break in a new SHS SW1 (never run but sat on a
dealer shelf for a number of years - it's an older production run) as
per the instructions that came with the model and after about 30
minutes of both forward and reverse running I noticed it started to
hesitate and then just slow down considerably. I now have smoke
rising from the end of the motor closest to the little circuit board.
I don't see any recommendations in the manual to lubricate any parts
around the motor itself. Does anyone have any ideas what might be
binding or what might have gone wrong? Should I try lubricating the
drive shaft where it emerges from the motor?
Chris
