Hi All,

I received some test shots of new parts just after Christmas made from my
Solidworks designs. They were new X29 bolsters and Archbar trucks. We opted
to try out a new process just for a few parts to see how everything fit
together. In spite of being able to assemble the truck in the computer there
is always a hint of doubt.

The good news is everything fits together really well. The bad news it the
new process produces rough surfaces everywhere that are completely
unacceptable. We simply cannot have anything go right for us the first or
even 5th time! Still it is very cool to see and hold a truck in your hand
that you designed.

I am meeting with Dan soon to discuss our next direction. In spite of the
rough surfaces, I think the new X29 bolsters have promise to get us out of
the leaning issue. Anything X29 takes precedence over the Archbar truck.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
