I received an email stating that my Paypal account had unauthorized
use, and to log in and check it. I clicked the link and logged in.
They asked me to verify my information, and as I was about to do it, I
noticed that the web address did not have Paypal in it. I quickly
closed the window and logged into my Paypal account. There was no
alert and I quickly changed my password to something completely
different. If you get an email like this, DO Not log in, one of the
things that they wanted was my credit card #. Log directly into Paypal
and check your account. I almost gave my # to scammers. Wheew!
