Ed D,

You don¹t indicate what part of the country you live in (or maybe outside
the US?), but in the KC area there are several people who repair S and other
scales. I usually go to one of them when I need repairs, unless the engine
is still under warranty, then I return it to the manufacturer. S Helper is
very responsive to repair requests.

I notice that there are a few repair people advertised in the S Gaugian,
although I have no direct experience with any of them. I am not certain, but
I believe Doug Peck at Portlines Hobby Supply repairs trains. He has always
been excellent to deal with on purchases and parts, so I¹m sure that if he
does repairs you can count on him.

If there is a local hobby shop in your area, you might be able to get some
suggestions from them.
