My only issue is the there are 2 runable engines. Atlantic 7002 and American 1223. 7002 needs main frame repairs. Forgot about what's wrong with 1223 It is my understanding that each engine requires major boiler repairs. They were leased (by PA) to the Strasburg RR WITHOUT an "in kind" lease, so that when they failed inspection, the RR was NOT required to repair and return them as they received them. I rode behind the engines several times in the eighties, amazing how fast they syncronized themselves running "on the main". Restricted to 35 MPH due to the cars they pulled, no one paid much attention to their stopwatches, because they would have been wrong. They did confuse the "hot wheel" detectors more than once.
