For those of you who "must have" (or actually need) some more '50s diecast
autos on your layouts, the next M2 release, due later this month, includes
three new castings: 1950 Oldsmobile 88, 1949 Mercury (lead sled), 1958
Plymouth Fury, 1959 Cadillac Series 62. There will be two paint jobs on each.
The rest of the release is new liveries on previous castings: 1957 DeSoto
Fireflite and 1954 Dodge Coronet.
My experience is that M2 does a nice job on these inexpensive models, at only a
fraction the cost of the original. I'm sure your favourite S Hobby Shop will
stock them. ... pqr
