The Enhorning unit were advertised back in MR in the early to mid 50's you
could get them with Miller Motors...two ways, one with Miller trucks and one
with Miller Motors in Enhorning trucks. Then there was a drive system that the
motor sat at an angle side to side with a huge lead gear box over each truck
and the gear turned a shaft that went down in a gear truck, then they made a
drive like All Nation or Atwater in O that the motor sat in the middle of the
unit and it ran a axle on each truck and a O ring to the second axle and then
in the late 60's they made the truck that had a vertical motor and shaft and it
ran a gear on one axle and the O ring drive again..these were about $22 each
and a promise of the GP-40 in 1968 that has yet to arrive. Branch Line had
these units for sale in the early 60's certainly they were powered and about
20 roadnames and all with varing degrees of the hump in the roof.
