Thursday morning about 2:00, the adventure began, in Milwaukee a bit before
10:00 in the morning for four wonderful days at the National Train Show. Will
Holt did a great job on the NASG display which Walt Jopke and I helped staff
with the assistance of a great group of guys from the Chicago and Milwaukee
area. No time to talk about the show in depth but we were a booth away from
Imagine That. Wonderful folks, and wonderful product that they are producing
in s. I bought a supply of everything they had in S to bring to Duluth. Jeff
Smith from Railmaster was across from us helping in the LocSound booth.
Locsound has a new decoder that sounds great and takes 8 Ohm speakers. I
bought one for my Alco and I will install in in Duluth. We left Milwaukee a
bit after 8:00 last evening and I arrived home 1:59 this morning, the Canadian
Pacific greeted me with a freight train passing the back yard as I started to
unload the trunk. I was a little wired from the trip so I spent a couple hours
cleaning up and got a couple hours of sleep before i started in again this
morning. The phone is ringing, guys are hitting town and I expect about 60
over for dinner tonight so I need to get going. Sorry if you are not able to
make it to Minnesota this week, I enjoy meeting fellow S Scalers but keep in
touch.
