Rusty; While I understand that MARS is the company who made them, they are not
the gyrating beam lights thought of here. They were a fixed 2-bulb headlight
that has an oval piece of glass that was hinged to swing out of the way when
bulbs were being changed out. Walthers has a plastic casting for one of these
in HO, but they are expectedly too small for S. I hope the step project
materializes, also. Thanks Much. DJE

Actually I think I have those oval mars lights around here someplace. I also
have considered making the steps. The ones on the old "WHATEVER F-? UNITS" were
always giving it up for places unknown. There are other things I am considering
making.

But what is listed below is what I have no intentions of ever doing again.

I will no longer fix anything that is not mine, I also will never paint
another model for any one. It is amazing how much modeling time I have now.
None of the BS about , well I thought maybe you could do this this way and that
that way and how come you want so much to fix my rare, special, one of a kind,
custom painted, by Mr wonderful model. Really, I swear it ran better when I
shipped it to you to replace the part that broke off when i dropped it and how
come the paint is no longer perfect like it was when I mailed it to you. Why
don't you make this special one off part for me that I really need since I lost
the original one

I was asked to do work and paint a model, he thought it was too much, okay, I
UNDERSTAND, no problem. Go pick up the phone book and call the local custom
model paint shop, I think they are listed under Custom Model Painters in the
yellow pages. They are every where, and the prices are so cheap!

Who said I now have a sour attitude? Bad day in the cave here, really bad day.
