Can you read through this email string and see if anyone of the guys in the club that fix AF are near Toledo or the Ohio line? Thanks! By the way, pictures of your layout in Dispatch looked great! I would be interested in anyone who does repairs, but the closer to Toledo and the Ohio line, the better. Thanks for your help. I don't do AF repairs as I'm really not an AF operator or collector. I am in a big club, however, the one that sponsored the Spree and we do have a couple of very talented guys who do repairs. I live in Oakland, MI, a northern suburb of Detroit, but I'm not sure where the two guys I'm thinking of live. I think one is closer to Lansing, MI. I can get you the names of the guys who do the repairs if you're interested. I am wondering if you do repairs on AF engines and where you are located. For a number of years I took my stuff to Fort Wayne to Ron Valiton and found him to be very good and very reasonable. Since he passed, I have been going to Maumee, OH, but I have not been real happy. The man in Maumee is good and reasonable, but hard to get and rather slow in completing the repairs. So, I thought of you and was wondering how far you actually are from me and the feasibility of bringing things to you. I have neverf sent anything in for repair by mail or UPS and I am not real interested in starting that. So if you could e-mail me back on this, I would appreciate it. To help you, I am the guy who gave you a card on Grandpa's Model Train and Toy Museum. Hope to hear from you at your earliest convenience. Glenn D. Miller [email protected] David O.
