Dear Thorin,
Yeah, I bet that is at least a 25 year old mistake. The first
batch from Korea were flipped, but the builder made good. I was part
of that committee and I thought they had all been destroyed or
trashed. We did not want to confuse them with the good ones. I am
guessing that they are the only ones now available. I thought I heard
that the tooling could not be found for another run of good ones, but
that was quite a few years ago. Maybe someone from the NASG
clearinghouse could enlighten us on these misprinted check gages...
