All, I replied to Bob F that there were 25 NX23. They were mostly assigned to Ohio. There is the X23a that had NO roof for COKE service. But the regular X23 was by far the most prevalent.
I have at least 2 of the yellow R7 reefers. I would buy them when I saw them for sale assembled. I also have a Matheson car. Nonetheless, Jim King would not have to try too hard to make a better car then the existing wood kits....
