I belong to a local group of 24 model railroaders ranging from N scalers to G
gaugers. One of the latter has his "largish" railroad inside his house. I am
the only S scaler in the group. We host the whole group each first Monday of
the month. Hence each member hosts the group once every 24 months. There are
some remarkable accomplishments within the group and every last railroad
confronts a different set of challenges to construction and operation. I have
learned so much from being a member of this group that I most strongly
recommend that S scalers actively seek to rub shoulders with model rails with
other scales.
