Ed, Well with DC the stuff all runs the same direction if it is wired the same and will run opposite if the pickup is wired opposite. So you could have two engines running at each other and flip the reversing switch and they run away from each other.

If the engines are receiving DC, how can AF advertise that two engines and run on the same track heading toward each other and then, just before the crash, stop and reverse. How can that be done with plain DC? Maybe there is an insulated gap in the track, but the advertisement makes no mention of that. In fact, the ad states "on the same track".
