All,

I was briefly at an O Scale only show (NO Lionel etc) in a firehouse in
Strasburg PA. It was almost 3 hours total on the road and about 1 1/2 hours
there.

I had a few objectives.

1. Not buy ANYTHNIG!

2. Be home by noon to go a for fun Fido Fest with Donna & Pickles. We
actually went on both days.

3. Photograph this **stunning** O scale PRSL AS16 I requested a friend to
bring just for that purpose. http://www.lanestrains.com/PRSL_AS16.jpg I will
have my AS16 looking much like this at some point

4. Go for a hand shake with the person that is building my new corner
modules in the next few months.

5. Make sure that any rolling stock bought there by Ed Kelly and another
friend were unpainted even if a suitable painted model was also available.

All goals got accomplished pretty well. I has home at 12:15. I may have
unintentionally picked an O brass dealer as a paint prospect. I was not in
promotion mode.

But as an added bonus I got to sneak up on Ed when I first got there and
give him the horns on his head for easily 30 seconds without him knowing I
was there. The first grader still lives within at times.

As I walked around the show (100 tables or so) I thought how it would be
cool if it was an S Scale show. That is OK - I am really not in a buying way
now anyway.

Thank You,
Bill Lane
