Hi Jace; I have used it, now stepped up to NEC but plan to hold the Bachmann unit for a possible switching layout.
Information on setting up the system can be found here: http://www.bachmanntrains.com/home-usa/ezcommand_2010.php?ezpage=1 The unit should have come with two plugs to connect to the track, one with the connector for Bachmann's set track and a second with a pair of spade connectors on the ends of the wire. If you can try to order a replacement part from Bachmann, or cut off their EZ-Track connector and connect the wires to the track. A third option would be buy one section of the Bachmann HO track with the connector, soldier wires from rails to your layout and plug in the connector as intended! Pieter E.
