I was very sorry to learn of Stan Furmanak's deteriorating condition.
After the Katrina Debacle (2005), I was forced to move suddenly due to
unforeseen conditions. Stan quickly contacted me to obtain my address
changes in order to not miss the NASG Dispatch mag. He is an expert in
information control (AIR, he is a librarian by training). Also, I
believe he streamlined and vastly improved the membership renewal
process. Later, I also learned Stan is an excellent modeler. He will
be greatly missed.
