Dear Jim,
We appreciate your concern. Just about all of our dealers have
been very supportive of our decision and understand our situation.
Our buyer at Walthers was a real doll about it. Once we are up and
running I do not see any problem in re-establishing our network of
dealers. Right now we are still negotiating with Kader over a few
loose ends. The real work and money needed will be when we move our
tooling as the new builder may need to modify the tooling to fit there
machines.
One other bit of York stuff, Mike Wolf of MTH stopped by the booth
(we are adjacent to each other) and gave us some kind words of
encouragement. He went through the same thing when Samhongsa of Korea
stopped making his trains and he moved all of his stuff to China (40
containers worth...Yikes). He gave us some tips on items we need to
include in the move as well as explain some of the logistics that they
encountered. I am so glad he stopped by with his advise.
