Interesting. I hadn't heard anything like that, though obviously obviously
AM can't sell what they don't have. I see Ron face to face occasionally,
but he keeps his cards close to his chest. When I asked about earlier plans
to rerun smooth-side passenger cars, he said he couldn't because the price
they(?) quoted to him was exorbitant.
I don't believe AM had been 100% dependent on the Kader company. They had
been getting components and even entire products from other sources, I
believe. And they do a lot of final assembly in So Lyon, Mich. I think
they're working on a rerun of their turnouts right now.
