Depending on the tank car, the trucks used are the former Ace style trucks.
For the modern style cars roller bearing trucks are used. They are sprung and
equalized. Currently, the Geigy car has sprung and equalized friction bearing
trucks because they are correct for that car.

This brings up a question. Downs used to supply all the ready to run

cars with the Ace roller bearing trucks. What's under them now?
