Hi,
Has any manufacture ever made a 100 ton, 14 panel hopper in S? The hopper that
I'm asking about is one that was built by the Norfolk & Western beginning in
1959 (I think N&W designated it as H-21) and was very common well into the
Norfolk Southern era. This design was also very common for eastern coal haulers
and other railroads had adopted this design. Bowser made one in HO and Lionel
has one in their O gauge line that has "true" O scale dimensions, so I was
wondering is S ever had one. I know that we have the Chesapeake Models 3-bay
(now made by DPH under the S Scale America line), but the prototype is a
70-tonner.
Just wondering.
Thanks,
Robyn Watkins
