Even though the steam loco has a 4 digit address can't you just reprogram the
address with the bachmann unit? It should tell you in the bachmann EZ manual
how to do it and from memory this involves pressing and holding a couple of
buttons till the led flashes and then selecting an address button and as long
as its the only loco on the track at the time it should'nt be a problem. If you
done it right the loco should move slightly when you press the new address
button.
