Sorry about that, Pieter is going to add them to the Photo section of the web site. I am sure it will be done soon.

Thanks Ed Sauers ________________________________ From: J BROWNE <[email protected]> To: [email protected] Sent: Mon, November 8, 2010 3:16:36 PM Subject: {S-Scale List} Fw: S-scale conversion from Atlas HO Girder Bridge Hi All, I spent a little time on this project over the week end, having remembered the idea being mentioned by the Group a little while back and am glad to say it worked out quite well. Atlas has also Truss bridges which could be treated in the same way. It has all been done before, of course, so I was confident. Note clearances of various rolling stock tried through the bridge. (The unmarked stock are from AM) The clearances are quite tight and one would have to be careful with overhang if connected directly to a curved track. I used Tomalco track for the extensions. The rail is Code 100 for all the track, but the Tomalco rail was loose in the Atlas fish plates. I used the Xuron rail cutter to crimp the fish plates to the rail. The new base is black polystyrene sheet and I used Styrene Adhesive to join the Bridge halves to the sheet. I suspect a thin strip between the rails, to cover the gap, would be a good idea but I have not done that yet. The glue dries quickly so I had to glue each side separately. Atlas Piers are now also too narrow to fit without modification, so that is a problem for another time.
