Sure reminds me of the Midwest, Steve. Wow, beautifully done! I'll bet the NMRA
guys were suitably impressed. The pumpkin field is great.

Thanks, Roger. I remember your outstanding rural Monon Bell pike from the past
so I figured you'd appreciate the terrain. The NMRA guys also saw two
excellent HO layouts during the Twin Cities Division tours - Bill Brigg's and
Gerry Leone. Both are extremely well-done and well-known. But there were a lot
of comments upon seeing mine that they didn't know there was so much available
in S, and how well S rolling stock tracked, and of course, about the size. Even
a few of the old "If I didn't have so much HO stuff...", etc. Might have made
one convert due to failing eyesight.

The individual cornshocks took about 10-min apiece to create, so relatively
easy. Hope to do an a short article on it. The pumpkin patch leaves and vines
are real corn leaves mulched in a Krupps coffee grinder. The residue makes for
an interesting cup o' java.
