Pieter Roos's tribal knowledge omits some obvious "S" in his midst, viz.:

1. Precision Scale has S parts as well. While they are all supposedly Sn3,
lots of steam fittings apply to standard gauge as well as narrow gauge.

2. Wiseman Model Services has S standard gauge stuff too. Among these: Two
styles of SP flatcars (40' and 53'). Also at Wiseman are V&T patterns for
standard gauge T-section Bettendorf trucks. I'll bet he could be talked into
running these.

3. Grandt Line has a line of S parts. Lots of structure stuff, lots of Sn3,
and a few S standard gauge (notably AB brake set).

Regarding SSL&S, recent news from owner Fred Rouse suggests that he is nearly
ready to re-emerge, but then I hear he also has serious health problems.
Sometimes he lurks on this e-list, so maybe he will tell us...
