Well Bill, we'll probably miss you! However if your donations exceed your needs remember your good buddy in Texas! It's too bad AF never made a Pennsy cabin car 'cause then we could stomp on one Rollie style in your honor!
Fixing up the house is, of course, an honorable thing to do. When I was visiting various layouts over the weekend, I stopped in to visit a small layout that I had never seen before. The home was located in a lower middle class area and appeared to be a duplex. It was hard to determine the house number, there weren't many cars parked about and the typical cross-bucks in the front yard was missing. The house was very 'tired' looking having vines growing up around the entrance and the insides smelled rather badly of, what I might call--old dog smell! The layout owner was a rather 70'ish handicapped fellow who had lost his voice due to cancer--his engines didn't smoke but he apparently did! Great little bedroom sized coal hauling layout, DCC with sound, car card operations and nicely detailed all around. Guess he was in his little world which certainly is okay too! However my wife would have had a fit with that house. My house is also in need of much fixing up so maybe I should have obtained a few house repairs rather than my turbines or Challenger. So like Bill we wait for the stimulus package to kick in! Bob Werre, who still has plans to make it West this coming year! BobWphoto.com > > All, > > I talked to Donna over the weekend.
