I have one on the
layout. So far all I've done is to mount a wood strip with flex track into
the deck recess (with the intention of eventually simulating a ballasted
deck).
I'll eventually get to some addtional modifications and
detailing- one possibility is surgery on the ends. Angling the ends of the
top chords downward would shorten the structure a bit, but would make this
look much more typically American. MTH knocked off the design from a Roco
HO model of a European prototype.
