I talked to Linda yesterday.
Stan is on morphine and even though it is administered orally and regulated,
all he has been doing recently is sleeping.
Most of Stan's modeling materials has been sent to one of our prominent S
Gaugers. (At my request)
Stan's brother also has taken some boxes full of kits, etc. to his home that
he plans to put up on E-bay. ( I do not know what Stan's brother Bob took to
his home.)
All of Stan's models that are in a display cabinet in his home are still
there and not up for sale at this time.
As most of you know, Stan was an excellent modeler and these models are very
accurate in all detail. I told Linda that I was not interested in any of
Stan's models, but when the time comes, I will personally handle the sale of
the models to our S Gauge group for her, just to make sure that this is done
properly.
Frankly, I don't need the extra work, but Stan is my pal and I want to make
sure that Linda is not taken advantage of. I hope this doesn't sound
cynical, but you all know what I mean or am trying to say. Linda also wants
to thank all of you who have called, and she feels sorry that most times
Stan is unresponsive.
Linda had to give up her job so she can devote more time to taking care of
Stan.
Stan wants to make until Christmas .. All prayers on his behalf are and will
be most appreciated.
Please . all correspondence should be through me at this time as Linda is
not a computer person, nor is anyone else in the family.
