All,
I have a pair of Alco Models RS3 trucks up for disposition. The original side frames are still attached. One truck spins freely from the drive shaft being turned. On the other truck, the driveshaft spins freely but does not turn the wheels. I tried to spin the wheels slightly and the axles don't seem to be locked. I am not interested in trying to diagnose the problem since they are getting replaced. If you have a brass RS3 that has been sidelined for the bad trucks here is you change to get some spare parts. Interesting trades, cash - whaddaya got? The transaction is final. I don't want them back for any reason. I will have a few more sets (probably is somewhat worse condition) at some point once I figure out what has to be done to make the new drive. Shipping this set may take a few days as I still have to get the floor ride height with the old & new trucks in my alleged spare time.
