Gents..Please note the following if you attempt to use the American Airlines
5% discount air fare promo code. Apparently a few folks found out (the hard
way) that the "A" must be omitted. Ed L.

when he tried to book travel the promotion code did not work. I tried
booking a ticket online and also found the promotional code came back as
invalid.
I called the American Airlines number provided and the person on the phone
said that you need to leave the "A" off of the beginning of the promotional
code.
We should be entering the promotion code of 9861DF instead of A9861DF.
I tried this code on the AA group site and this promotional code is
accepted.
