Yes, that would be the logical assumption, which is why I mentioned it as a possible way of identifying their origin. It seems to have been engraved in the molds (wouldn't have made much sense to stamp white-metal low-unit-value parts individually). Someone else agreed with my conjecture that they may have been from Jan Lorenzen's EMD kits, but so far no one has said for sure.
