Unfortunately none of the information you've so kindly listed is of any use on the Des Plaines site, or are you saying that all the tank cars listed in SSA are of this type?

Lehigh Valley Models also have a wood and card kit, and the old AF tank also matches your description. If you are looking for a bit of a challenge, the PBL "Gramps" tank prototype was a standard gauge car modified slightly for narrow gauge use and can be re-converted to run on S scale layouts. Steam era tank cars is among the areas where S is limited in variety. The AM tank cars are more modern designs, as were most of Rusty Downs'. I see Regal used to make kits, but I can't find anything more recent. I don't have the knowledge to understand what Des Plaines offers by description alone without pictures. Everyone else seems to only carry chemical tanks, and I don't know what years they represent. In situations like this, I really miss being able to go somewhere and see what I'm buying.
